Some of my most favorite weddings are the simplest ones. Ashley and Nick’s backyard beach celebration proved that an elegant day doesn’t need extravagance… just thoughtful details, the people you love, and a setting that speaks for itself.

College sweethearts, Ashley and Nick began this chapter in a uniquely meaningful way. When Nick joined the Navy, the two had a civil ceremony before planning their day in Florida. Their intimate wedding felt like a a beautiful way to complete one season and begin the next.

The first weekend in October brought perfect weather for a Florida wedding. The day felt effortlessly refined, classy, and tasteful. The kind of wedding where everything is just right without trying too hard.

White and blue details echoed the beauty of the Rosemary Beach coast – clean lines, coastal air, and a simple color palette that felt fresh and classic. 

With just a few seats and most guests standing, the ceremony made use of every inch of space without feeling crowded. Nothing was wasted. It was intimate in the truest sense. Everything served a purpose. Just a backyard, close loved ones, and sweet love for one another.
